I want my business networking site to be included in Business.com, but $299 per year is a little steep. If I do their PPC with a budget of $10 per month ($120 annually) will I get credit for the back link? I realize that I won't get very much traffic this way, but I didn't expect to get much traffic from being listed in the directory either. I want the link because they are an authority site for my keyword. What do you guys think?
absolutely it's not a smart way to get quality backlinks, how about advertise on several business related blogs or submit to real quality directories? but you budget is very tight.
WallaceYeung, What would be the difference in advertising on business blogs instead of advertising on business directory? How do you determine "quality" back links?
@theronn, traffic. you might probably get several clicks monthly only even your site was listed on DMOZ.
