8 page impressions is not much, you need more traffic to get an accurate click ratio

10-15% is a perfect CTR for truly professional sites and many high end pros have such CTR - here in DP forum as well !!!

the more interesting your topics and the more competing advertisers you have, the better the ads shown and thus the higher the generic CTR.

if your site is so professional, how come you have a high amount of visitors clicking on ads to leave your site?  :D

With only 8 page impression but 1 click that surely makes 12.50% of CTR. I wouldn't say 'normal' but it's still fine.

If you think it's to worry about then you should contact Google about this and ask if they think it's ok. If you ask openly about this they'll appreciate it. It's better you ask them then before they ask you questions...

You can't judge CTR by just 8 impressions and 1 click.
With those figures per day let it at least run for 2 weeks and then you should get a better picture.

Compared to most people a 12.5% is quite high but it is possible.
If you manage to maintain a 12.5% CTR you are in great shape.

Just make sure that all visitors and clicks on your site are legit and you should be fine..

Also - something to think about - CTR shown on Adsense is not per visitors to the site, it's per page views.

    Example:

If 50% of visitors to your site click on adsense ads - this doesn't necessarily mean that you have a CTR of 50%!
If each visitor viewed 5 pages that have adsense on them then your CTR will actually be 10%.

This is also a great way to keep CTR below suspicious values.

One last thing - it also depends upon the way you divide your ads into different channels.
It is actually possible to control specific channel CTR.

Just a couple of things to think about!

    Good day

on good content sites you always the RELEVANT ads truly complementing the content = hence ads value added to content.

clicking an add in no way proves that visitor instantly left page/site, he can open ad and still continue reading site ... until all questions answered and ready to move on.

example of complementing content by ads:

    a wifi howto
and ads offering wifi antennas or wifi equipment/routers

a page about a tourist destination
and the ad offering the filghts to or hotels at that destination

a page - review of a piece of equipment
and the ad offering that or completing pieces of equipment for sale

a page offering alternate medical tips
and ads offering alternate medicine supplies

= teamwork between publisher and industry relevant to content !!
