You should definately go for adsense.

But you can also try out adbrite as they pay more for pageviews with their full page ads :D

The key is to test between some affiliate programs and something like ADSENSE. You won't know until you test.

If you don't have the time/resources/skills to develop the site, you could sell it on sitepoint.com or even on here in the Buy/Sell/Trade forums.

You're bound to get good money out of it if you can prove the visitors.

site not for sale, will be a major site in the years to come, but we are very conscious of the fact we had massive traffic with no advertising revenue last year (the site runs a competition yearly) . we wanted to prove the traffic year 1 before punting for advertisers for year 2, which is the stage we are up to.

banners will sold, on a cpm basis of £3-5 per 1,000 impressions, or on a CTR rate. so if anyone fancys advetising, PM me.

    Good work Gwads

Your earnings depend upon which country are you getting taffic from and the buying intentions of the visitors.

I have sites ranging from just 100 visitors a day to 1000 visitors a day and sometime the 100 visitors make more money than 1000 visitors.

You have to test the ads for what is making you more money. My 100 visitors make me £1000 per month which is a lot for a small website like that.

I would be interested in advertising on your site, can you PM me plz

    Thanks

Try AdSense or Azoogle, Azoogle especially for ringtones ads which will work great on a music site.
