118,000 Members, 15,000 Alexa, Pr4 WOW

The site was offline for two weeks as it was 'sold' unfortunately the buyer backed out of the final payment without reason for the website while my client was on holiday which caused the downtime. I am brokering this website for my client and it is back online regaining traffic at a very healthy rate.

I am requesting updated stats from the client aswell as updated revenue. But before the downtime the following stats where;

Revenue: fluctuated from $300 per month to $1000 per month. No real effort was made to promote the website or maximise revenue. With 118,000 members and some newsletters it can easily bring in alot more.

Visitors: 245,384
Pageviews: 2,445,889
Average Time On Site: 16minutes
Unique Visitors: 95,000

My client wants a quick sale and will go to the highest bidder. The reason for selling is that my client has now married and their family morals now clash with them operating this type of website although not strictly adult, does contain some adult content

Why do people do this, what is the point of trying to sell a website then make everyone request the friggin url???

 

There are several reasons.

My client has asked to gauge the interest received, if i require a pm or a notification of some sort then that is a good way to report the interest.

I do not want the site to show up in google for sale.

My client has not given me permission to post the url on this forum in public view and therefor i will not post it. This is how business is done i'm afraid, with the requests of clients.

Traffic is usually around the 2500GB a month range.

The website has no advertising costs, it's gained popularity through word of mouth and was featured on national news in it's specific country for a 'scandal' video which resulted in mass growth and over 118,000 members.

Please mail me via the address i sent in the pm. This reduces the amount of people asking for stats who are not interested at all. They have to open another link which for people who are interested won't be a problem,for others they'd rather not for some reason. It means i can dedicate more time speaking to those who are interested.

Asking Price

Any offers over $10,000 will seriously be considered. My client will sell to the highest bidder providing 10k is reached. I've had a couple offers of $2,000 range which is not suitable and a couple above 5,000k which will be kept on hand if my client decides to let it go below what she wants.

"their family morals" made me chuckle. His morals (I am assuming the owner is a man) didn't seem to be a problem while the site was being built. I think "her sense of morality" is probably more like it.
