well dangerous but they cant take any legal action against me as the domain was free for anyone to get and its not like im putting up a phishing fake or some exploit etc there.
Anyone can take legal action against anyone for any reason. Now whether it's worth their time or they would have a good case (they might because it is basically the same name and registered after Yahoo has been around as a popular site for 10+ years) is another story.
if they take they will have to fight the case in my own country's high court or supreme court and the laws of my country will be followed. i asked my dad(a lawyer) and he confirmed that they have no valid reason to take a legal action against me unless i put something there like a phishing page, exploit to install a trojan or anything illegal punishable by indian laws. EDIT: besides the domain was free for anyone to take and if i hadnt taken it someone else would have taken it...if yahoo wants it they will have to buy it :|
they might own it now, but yahoo had to go with Yahoo! since "Yahoo" was already trademarked. so i dunno.
good buy a bit long though lol, you will probably get the o's mixed up all the time. I think long domains are harder to sell, unless someone really wants it for a reason, plus as said before they are hard to type.
i think a domain like that yahooooooo one would be hard to sell because there is no catching point. I've already recieved offers for my o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o0o.com mostly cuzz its the longest you can have a domain, and it looks cool and is catchy ha. i guess.
