According to google adwords conversion tool, it shows 11 sales this month. But according to clickbank I only have 8 sales. I promote a popular clickbank affiliate program that has a physical product, do you think this would be the reason, or did clickbank just miss these sales? I doubt it, but I already emailed the merchant to see if he shares the same thankyou page for the digital and physical product. What do you think?
I've had as high as two times the conversions with Google than with the CB product for some products (notably Sit Stay Fetch dog training...) Their explanation was that people were coming to my site through my AdWords ad and not buying ... but eventually buying through another affiliate's link... But the Google cookie was still on their computer - so Google records it as a sale while I don't get credit from CB.
Google conversion tool have setup the algorithm by two fold with those clickbank script so the google may convert it by double to clickbank standard
Google gives crazy data, just to make you happy . It always shows incorrect data.Stick with clickbanks tracking.
Very common for Google to mismatch with clickbank's stats. In the end, it is clickbank that is paying you so it's best to follow them.
