I have gotten into the habit of pinging my author RSS feed when articles get approved. Social and blog links are also an added touch.

I think being a Platinum author on EzineArticles has helped me because my articles always get accepted in 24 hours and without me doing anything they seem to always show up on Google almost right away.

    *update

Out of the 11 approved ezines, 1 is showing up on page 3. Strange thing is, it isn't the artice that I've been promoting. The one article I've been promoting via blog commenting and posting in different directories isn't showing up.

The one that is showing up on page 3 was on page 1 this morning, but sometime during the last 5 hours it reverted back to page 3. Google has my emotions on a neck jerking roller coaster ride, but I"m enjoying the journey of learning how sensitive google can be.

I will now promote the article on page 3, as well as the one I've already started promoting. I WANT my articles on PAGE 1 -- the top spot has 8000+ hits according to Google keyword tool.
