How the hell do you plan on making money if you hide all your ads? I had to browse and strain my eyes to actually find them! Number one mistakes people who complain about low CTR/$ is that they hide the ads. You should be proud of them and show them above the fold if you want your CTR to increase. The block in the middle would be a good idea. By the way, what platform did you use for the site?
Try to use the competitive ad filter and filter the MFAs, parked domains and websites that look like they have been designed by a 10 year old.
with that amount of UVs you should get 20$+/day so i think change a ads placement would be a solution.
Almost all the ads are placed at the bottom of the page. You need to put more ads on the top. With that much of traffic you should definitely be making much more. As others pointed out try AdBrite, as they pay for the number of impressions you ll have a better chance. Good luck with your site.
It's ok for me. I still need to know how can you browse the episodes for download? i wanna download episode from episode 55 and up...
sorry to rub it in but my webmaster website. nowtutorials.com earns $20+ a day off webmaster ads, it was only earning $1-2 before that, i changed my design and add placements and now its working a treat! just play around with your ads mate and p.s i only get 3,000 unique visitors a day.
I know exactly how you feel. I had about 100,000 impressions and received only a few dollars from adsense. It's gotten better, but it just doesn't seem right. However, I guess it depends on the type of ads that are displayed on your site. I was getting a lot of ads that weren't relevant to my content.
everyone is right, you need to improve your ad placement... DO NOT WORRY about readers complaining. i recently put banner ads at the top of one of my portals. i did not get any complaints. i asked a few - whom i know in person if they noticed anything - they didn't even notice. my income doubled. i should have done it months ago.
Hi, I had the same problem but my ads were much better placed ( above post tittle and after post ) I have used Adsense and earned 1$ a day. Then I switched to TTZ Media and Chitika and I'm earning 6$ a day with 2,000 pageviews. They pay peer click. My site is also in entertainment niche. Try something else, maybe Tribal Fusion, I heard some good stuff about them ( you need to have at least 2000 uniques for this add network). They pay peer impressions.
1) fix the broken html that others have complained about, it's pushing your page content all the way down 2) learn how to use the filter, why have yahoo shopping ads on a manga site? 3) don't lump the forum stats in with the stats from the other website, they are totally different animals, and need to be optimized as such.
there are several issues with your site. i checked your first one and you only have 15% traffic comeing from US, the rest is from non-english speaking counties. so thats one issue. another one is, you site does not support cross browser funcionality and look terrible in IE (you nontent is way at the bottom when left menu ends) but looks OK with firefox. so you need to fix it for IE. and 3rd is pretty bad ad placement. make the ads more visible so that yor visitors see them when they visit your site
Thanks for the advice everyone. I applied for valueclickmedia a half a day ago, and I'm going to hope they accept me. I also tried adbrite for a few hours. It got 4,000 impressions and paid .00 cents. So, basically, I need to place more ads near the top? Right now my ad placements are as follow: Large rectangle on the bottom of all pages, wide vertical ad on the sidebar for all pages, large rectangle ad on the top-right of all download pages. The links are blue; http://www.onepiecehq.com/one-piece/download-multimedia/high-quality-anime Would it be better to make them google-blue link color or add a border? How about if I place a large banner ad under the latest/login section and enable large rectangle ads for all pages instead of just the download pages? I'll try to fix the layout issues. I hate divs.. Also, I have images disabled for most of my ads. Would it be better to enable both images and text ads? I actually have an MFA filter list. I had to filter out a lot of them. My main problem is that adsense likes to confuse the words, 'One Piece' for swimsuit stuff and rain gutter ads. Here's my block list; My reports;
find other alternatives.Diversify your site ads was the best action right now. read this post.. http://www.dailyblogtips.com/ways-to-make-money-online-with-website/:
I can understand you being reluctant to push the content down but you could at least try using links blocks above the fold. A line of four links across the top right under your own banner or a block of five as the second block in the left hand nav for example. Also I can see where your visitors are coming from but really where are they coming from and why? If they are finding you via search engines searching for 'One Piece' they might be expecting to see something quite different from what you have on there. How many of those visitors are targetted quality traffic that might hang around on your site and possibly be interested enough in a (hopefully) relevant ad displayed by Google or whoever else you sign up with.
Hi, 1st, change the adsense link color to #0000FF (normal blue). More people will clic adsense. Maybe you can try with a Block of links too. BTW, what is necesary to be in your "affiliate"? I have an anime wallpapers site, and I will like to make link exchange with you if possible. Is very new site, but I'm just trying to populate the site ^_^ (You can see it in my sign)
