1099s - Whereabouts?

Has anyone received the 1099s, they should have been received last week. How are taxes to be done if they aren't sent out? I am afriad the deadlines won't be met, what do you do if you don't receive it in time? I suppose being located in Canada, 1099s are a last priority?

 

My AM said they should be going out next week.

Technically you could contact the IRS and they would start an issue with the company to get them out as they are supposed to legally be mailed by the 31st of January. I suspect we will have them shortly so I would be patient, and double check with your AM if you are worried.

 

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing about people being able to contact the IRS. I wouldn't unless it came time to file and I had nothing.

 

Funny that I should see this thread... Did anyone get there 1099 from Azoogle yet???

I thought maybe mine just got lost in the mail or something... but it seems like you guys are saying they haven't even gone out yet.

 

Yeah, they said they would go out this week or next.

 

Not cool... business taxes are due by 3/15.

We want one to file taxes for the business. I don't want one since it means I must pay taxes, but it is a necessary evil.

You think you get off of paying taxes because they send out the 1099s late?

Always pay your employees, on time.
Always pay your taxes.

It doesn't mean you need to overpay or anything else. The Government, however, has the means to mess your life up incomparable to what anyone else can do.

I have never seen a smart person not pay their taxes. They may have thought they were smart... but no.. not so smart.

I'm still waiting on my 1099 form from Azoogle too.

 

I have contacted them about this through my AM - Heard nothing.

 

Nothing here either, this is stupid long.

 

My apologies to any of you who have not received your 1099's. All 1099's were sent out last month, so please drop me an email at jonathan at azoogleads so we can get to the bottom of any missing 1099's as a matter of priority.

I finally got my 1099 and low and behold it was a few grand more than my AM told me it was going to be... Had to re-input for my taxes not a big deal but shouldn't have happened

 

Pretty bad that this is happening. They should be held responsible. They have a legal obligation to have these out by early February.
