100k video site with adsense

hi all,

i am planing to set up video search site up to 100k daily visitors.
site will be in english ans it will be targeted to US visitors.

site will be similar to http://tinyurl.com/38tgl2 , maybe better.

how much does it earns from adsense daily?
is video site gets banned shortly?

How do you know it will receive that much visitors? There is nothing wrong with a video site having adsense.

 

Yeah it wont get you banned, unless some adult material gets shown, then you may be in hot water.

 

100k daily is alot unless there more to this than your saying
as long as theres no copyright material it wont be a problem

 

i think i wont have copyright problem because site will be a search engine.
it will show videos from top video sites. imo those sites are deleting copyright videos soon so no poblem with my site.
any idea about earnings?

 

That is a lot of traffic for a new website. The general rule of thumb is to be thankful for any money made off of adsense. Focus on building a top quality website. Google AdSense program policies allow you to place up to three ad units and three link units on any page.
I suggest following these guidelines for top profits.

 

with 100k you could earn a fair bit
depending on your target traffic look at other areas away from adsense

for instance certain videos could have affiliate banners on the page

 

Huge video sites do not get banned due to copyright material or adult content, even if they host them for a long while till they delete them, however, Google will not be as much tolerant as they are to the average publisher, as they are to the big boys. So i think you need a deep filtering system. But still..

 

Google does not permit Adsense on search pages. Check the TOS to make sure of this.

On reading previous posts people tend to say video sites earn less than other sites, whether this is true or not maybe an actual video site owner can clarify this.

Also you may have to write a bit about each video as im sure just plonking a video and a few ads will be against TOS due to lack of content maybe. Also you need to feed the Ads with content to get targeted ads.

 

well for starters Adsense TOS does not allow ads
on YouTube video sites. Read new TOS.

youtube does not own any copyrights for any of the videos, all copyrights belong to the person or company who shot the video, period.

read the new youtube tos, as was mentioned above.

and fyi, the earnings are lousy, because the traffic is not targeted.

 

OK so is the part of Youtube TOS or Adsense TOS?

For example can we not use and Adsense Ad on any page that contains an embbeded Youtube video?
If this is the case then we are allowed to use a different video host other than youtube and all is OK?!

i may not get videos from youtube, there are many other high quality video sites.

 

about the income with that amount of traffic you could get 100+$/day with a good ads placement. just wonder how could you get that much visitors for the new site.
