1000tags - The new million dollar homepage ?

Here's another one: www.traffic-keyword.com I wrote about it already somewhere else.. It's quite cheap.. I bought the "webmaster" keyword last week and that brought me about 10 new visitors or so..

 

Well, I decided to give this thing a shot and threw his code on a couple sites for the free tags. I haven't seen my tags on his site yet or even got a response though. Has anyone else gone through the steps to get the free tags?

 

I went the pay route and it was up in 15 minutes. Perhaps I hit them at the right time?

$25. Who cares about direct link? I just want traffic. I see it no differently than using AdWords. If I can get 100 clicks for $25, I am about equal with AdWords.

 

This is so stupid, it's going to be saturated with these sites before one even gets off the ground. So much for this idea...

 

Any idea of the amount of traffic you are getting from it yet?

I have had my cloud installed on my site, and my tag submitted since saturday, this morning (wed), he still hasn't placed my tag yet, I even refreshed the site 10 times and did a word search for it....... still nothing.

 

I’m sorry but how can you buy a TAG???????? This is just so stupid. You can’t buy a tag or a word. The more sites that offer this kind of thing the less effect it will have. It will dilute into nothing. This looks like a scam to me. It’s like trying to copyright America, Canada or Europe. After you buy this tag what do you do with it, or what do they do with it.

 

I heard their original idea was 1000fags, but changed it after deciding it wouldn't go over very well.

 

I did mine Sunday night, still nothing from him either. I figure I'll give him a week to respond. If not, I'll take it down.

 

Hmmmm.... Maybe they are manually checking each? Perhaps a backlog.

I am getting a little traffic so far - probably about 10 clicks a day. I have a tiny tag ($25 option), so not surprising. It is a numbers game!

 

I don’t believe people are investing in this. Ok, lest do it this way. Who’s gotten a good amount of traffic due to this investment? Please post some numbers.

 

I'm getting now about 10-20 clicks a day from www.traffic-keyword.com. And I managed to get the 'shared' WEBMASTER keyword for just $5 (worth $9). I guess that's more than enough. StormPay only would be a downfall for them.

Sounds like a one-page directory...

 

So the question stands. Is it worth the investment? Don’t you think the more sites like this the less effect you tag will have?

First why didn’t you posts your comment on this thread? Second when I said scam I didn’t mean anyone was trying to steal anything from anyone, but rather that this investment will not work!!!!
