Wa all know that getting your first few sales from a new niche is like a some sort of sign. Some affiliates are able to turn these campeigns into a huge profit machines and my question is - how? I failed hard in the ex back niche trying to promote MoMU - failed for me is that I make around 300$ in sales a month with it, maybe 400$. But my question is not about the ex back niche, forget about it. Right now I found something new and got 3 sales from it (120 clicks to the product - nice conversion rate). How to turn it into a big campeign and not into another 300$/ months loser? Where the heck to bring the traffick from?
Since you're failing and only earning $300 a month then something must be wrong in your campaigns .. Either you're not researching your competition, finding converting keywords, tweaking your landing pages properly or you just simply haven't done enough promotion. Al.
If you already have 2 successful campaigns making $300 per month each, you can try other products and build more successful campaigns. The little ones will add up to bring bigger profits.
Have you tried scaling you existing campaigns? Meaning, expand them, add a few more ad groups with new keywords so that you get more traffic and optimize them. Most products pay around $20-$30 per sale at clickbank, you'd need 1 sale in 3 days at $30 per sale to generate $300 per month. If you could add some more traffic, I'm sure you'll be able to get at least 1 sale per day.
if you're on adwords, try comparing CTR's with your ads and keep improving on the lesser performing ones. That should show pretty good results in a short time.
I'm sorry I didn't mention I am talking about bum marketing campeigns - the question is: when I find something profitable how to make more money from it then 300 bucks? And in the ex back niche I failed because of the hard competition there - for keywords like "win your husband back" you have 500 000 cometitors.
If you're doing article marketing - target longer tail keywords. Even in the most highly competitive niches there are still powerful keywords that are not overly saturated. Trust me, they exist. If I can find a list over 100 in the "make money online" niche and several others you can surely find better keywords in the niches you're attempting to promote. Do better research. And research your competition as well. Some keywords produce high competition but it's not always competition that is impossible to beat.
Like a few others mentioned, just start searching for more keywords to bring you traffic. If you're currently targeting 5 keywords for example to get you that $300 every month, find 20 keywords to target and you should most likely see an increase in sales. Also, $300 a month is still something. If you have 10 campaigns that each make you $300 per month, then that's 3k per month. Just keep expanding on what you're doing and scale things up.
Well, thank you all for your answers...I think I am going to try the google adwords content network right now. For J1218: I expanded, but the problem that not every keyword there is profitable and it will take me a year to dominate the profitable once - I have arround 200 articles, 20 hubs, 20 ehows, 20 squidos and blogs. 2 websites one of them on the 1 page and the second is no where to find but it was on the first page! I don't mention all the 450 words articles I submitted to the Free Traffick System blogs for backlinks. My Solution is to by more tools for backlinks - like Linkvana, but it's pretty expensive for me right now! For the Precious007: This campeighn converts at 1-25/30 for me. the problem is not enought traffick!
