My website: http://www.defenceaviation.com/ I have 10000 per day but only 15 click giving only about $2.. Need help with my placements of ads. Thanks in Advance..
Maybe there is an issue with your ad placement. It appears that the 336x280 ads are not getting high CTR anymore (I had the same problem on my blogs). Although they did in the past, it appears now that people are used to them and they ignore them, as they do with 468x60 banners (which in the past were getting a lot of clicks but now they are ignored too). Try a 120 x 600 vertical ad on the left or the right of the posts. For me, this method increased the CTR a lot on my blogs.
Personally I would split your categories up more. At the moment you have "aircraft" which when clicked lists all your aircraft. Maybe have something like; Aircraft - Fighter Aircraft - Bombers - Transport etc... This way you can have more pages and thus more ads, but most importantly it's easier for your users to navigate around! Also, don't always list the full article straight away. If you show only teasers, then the page loads quicker, it is less overwhelming and you get people to click through to an individual page which is easier to advertise on. On these individual pages, try and insert the ads throughout the text, rather than completely seperate. Get rid of that massive ad box at the top of each page (underneath your main title) and move it into the text somewhere - maybe making it a bit smaller, and do the same nearer the bottom too. Hope that helps!
To be honest I didnt even see the ads, just cuz of this topic i started searching for them. I would make the link colors of google ads red or pink. So people will read it.
of cource it matter.but if you have search engines organic traffic and have only 15 clicks - then it is strange
Try to merge the ads with the contents or you can try different ad formats that suits your blog. If majority of your traffic is from search engines, then it should not be a problem in monetizing by increasing the ctr...
Obviously this poor conversations point to the fact that the visitors do not get what they are looking for. But the main FAIL is 10 huge articles per page. And content that is not yours http://www.copyscape.com.
are these unique visitors? you may want to try like 3 articles per page, and a few unique ones with your keywords would be nice.
First, you should try to wrap the text around the ads. Use a bit of CSS "float: left;", etc. At the moment, the ads seem a bit isolated and could be easily skipped over. Secondly, work on your keyword targeting. I know that it will be different for other people in other locations, but all of the ads I saw on your page were for "stress"- and "panic attack"-related topics! Look at the ads that I saw: Try using a keyword tool to analyse your content, and then try to focus your writing on the most relevant keywords! Good luck.
i also noticed THE ADS WERE WAY OFF ! they are about women and stress . . . nothing to do with military and defense . . .
1. Your traffic is not looking to buy or take any kind of action. They are just looking to read 2. Your ads are not that well targeted 3. It's just another blogger layout So good luck with that. You don't understand your visitor at all. And until you do you won't make any real progress. Placement is NOT the issue.
