You will need to buy your own server.
odaddy hosting wont work for this.

10K users a day, or 10K users at the same time?

Is it using vBulletin too? If in that case, how about the session time?

i would suggest at minimum a mid ranged vps. but a dedicated server would be the best option, if you don't know how to manage a server, there are plenty of companies out there that offer managed dedicated servers.

Since the site has not launched its best to be ready, I would suggest the following:
1-Front end web server with P4 or Core 2 Duo, with dual NIC's with Dual Drives in RAID 1
2-Back end MySQL server with Core 2 Duo or Quad Core Kentsfield with 2-4GB RAM 2 or 3 Drives in RAID 1 or 5

Something like this would serve you best, cost shouldn't be more than $400 per month, what is your budget?

If you grow out of this load balancing would be the next step.
Let me know how it goes.

In fact, if it's vBulletin with default session time, this site is still good on shared hosting. Yes, I said shared hosting. Just make sure the vendor is good enough. Going with dedicated server right now is wasting money.

However, if the session time is much shorter, it's a different story

if you have a site with this much activity itll be worth high $xx,xxx you may have big plans but it takes time to build up a forum like that, and if you can even think about getting near it you will have to promote it like hell and this will cost you lots. I would recomend shared hosting for first month to see how things turn out, after this upgrade to a vps and just keep upgrading each month until suits you comfortable. If you jump in straight at the deep end expecting this many users and a very large server you will run a sharp loss.
