i started out a video site around 3 weeks ago......and already got more than 10000 pages indexed in google however in yahoo only 100 pages indexed.... any chance that number will increase for yahoo???
yeah it should and congratz my highest site has 25k pages in google and abo ut 12k in yahoo - dont even count msn
Is it MSN or Live search? is there a difference? I ask because I've started to receive quite a bit of organic traffic from Live search with no signs of MSN..
I'm not even sure which is what. I know Windows Live came out of beta a few days ago. whatever the hell that means..
Did a bit of research (yeah I asked the big G) seems Windows Live search has replaced MSN when it came out of beta.. http://www.betanews.com/article/Windows_Live_Search_to_Replace_MSN/1146840993
Yeah, for some reason Google eats up almost all video sites. RubikVids, a site I sold a week or so ago, has over 500,000 pages in Google: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:rubikvids.com&btnG=Google+Search Pretty awesome way to build a lot of traffic
You guys actually getting any traffic from all these indexed pages though? I had one site with over 100,000 pages indexed by Google and they hardly sent me a visitor! Maybe because it was an Amazon affiliate site, but there was enough customisation to warrant at least a couple of hundred visitors a day I think. Chris
i dont even use either one lol but i have done some research on the SERPs of some of my sites and they rank high no matter what lol
It does NOT matter how many URLs are indexed. You need to check your SUPPLEMENTAL URLs site:www.yourdomain.*
For most of my web-sites, when I typed in my domain name, google showed several times more search results than yahoo, so I have only one outlet page of my web-site's forum (home-page of my forum) at yahoo, while google outlet 800-900 forum pages. I'm not sure if this means that yahoo didn't index all forum pages, when I type in (mysite.com name phpbb), yahoo gives around 30 results while that number is 260 with Google.
