$1000 You Tube Contest!

Hi All DP'ers!

You may have saw this thread a few months ago and it was from me! I took it down to modify and add some rules due to some things that were brought to me and my staff's attention.

Anyway's we are all finished with the mumbo jumbo and are relaunching our 2nd You Tube contest.

For complete rules and details and sign up please go to our contest page by clicking on the link below. along with posting on this thread that you are entering, that way I can track how many from DP has entered, As this contest is advertised in different forums, social networks etc.

we have 2 so either I need to adjust the rules and change the prizes or get 3 more entries, or suspend it again.

 

The two entrants atleast must be rewarded with a consolation prize

 

It's possible, I have to think about it, Rules are rules and it says that if there are not 5 entrants by 09-15-2011 than registration will either be suspended or extended. so as of now I have extended it.

Besides anyone can see by the 2 entries so far that the entry does not have to be like Hollywood etc. any video can pretty much be entered as long it complies with the rules.

We always have a room full of new stuff from companies and always give away money for different contests both online and offline. I cannot tell you how much I want to give someone $1000 let alone the other prizes.

 

Can we submit more than 1 videos from a user ?

Maybe I will change the rules on the next contest.

Why don't you get some of your friends to enter the contest and or further promote this contest, I have not of thought that this 2nd annual contest would be this hard to get 5.

 

@enormous : how long will this contest go on ? can i submit my friends' videos from the same address ?

 

the contest is currently in registration mode, if its your friends video and i have each of your friends, video, contact info then yes you can submit it for them provided that I can confirm them as another entry.

If nothing else I may have to suspend the contest and just give out a gift to the two that registered. I would not have thought that it would be this hard to give away $1000 thats why i made the minimum entrants to 5 but I guess that I was wrong.
