$1000 web design contest

Gonna enter this tonight if I have time, if not, will surely enter tommorow morning.

i was clear... all work i should get not the whole world! and don't think if the whole world agrees with your design, i will choose it...there are guys who submit their works with 2-3 hours ...

what you did is not professional @ all...( am not judging your work..and i will never even look @)

Anywho. Mansur I think what u did was great, and in my opinion very professional looking. I wish i knew how to do that. Im sure you put a lot of hard work into it, just wanted to comment it on it

 

I know this is none of my business, but I cant help commenting.
I agree with joidiamonds. Im not a designer, just an occasional buyer here but I love browsing the contests.
I really dont think this is fair on mansur. bloggersmoscic's condition are not at all clear. Where did it say PMed only entries?
If I was a designer I would be wary about proceeding. This guy seems as prickly as a thorn bush.

to clear things i was mad ..because i got just an hour after you submit your design here "6" emails, with almost same design as yours, with a little twist saying here is "my design"! now imagine if i choose one of these 6 because the back ground better than you ..he got the money and all your work...got nothing!

^ I read your first post and came up with a design that I thought was suitable for your website. Now I did not had a clue what other people had come up with and how would you know my design was similar to the others because you yourself refuse to even have a look at my entry after all the time and effort I spent on it.

One more thing when someone PMs (Private Message) you it means that its something intended for you not for everyone else, you did not have to post it here.

Too much for loose for the designers..

If someone do a design for you, and you pay it, i don't see why he wont send the files to you, as it will be a unique design for your site. It will be almost useless for any other project and i don't think anyone have tons of $1000 works to choose.

But if he send the $1000 template and he don't get paid..he may end up with no template and no money and you with $1000 template and $1000....

if you change that point i'll submit and i think others will do the same.

interesting point ! but who said you have to send the full project ..most who submited (thanks guys) sent images of what they have done....am not asking to send (code+psd) then i will choose!
