1000 visitors per day still very few click

    A friend of mine has asked me a question which I am unable to answer, please read the question as follows:

    I get almost 1000 visitors for my site and sad news is i only get 2-4 clicks what might be the reason for it,i am placing ads on left side and below ,can this be the reason for less clicks i use only one color for ads can it effect ?,try to help me if any one can understand my problem,thanking you

    Well, the Visiting stat is good but it seems like your Click Through Rate (CTR) and Clicks are less. This is due to sometimes of the Bad Ad Unit Placement or the Ads are coming but are not related to the websites Content and this is also be the reason that Website is not having any proper niche.

    Ad placement is very important. Try to put 320X320 ads. Those ads can give you more clicks.

    hi,

    my car has 1000 bhp but drives like a car with only 100 bhp. i wont tell you which kind of car it is, show you a picture or give you any other relevant information.

    You can have 1 million visits and only a few clicks.. Having traffic doesn't mean anything.. The first cause is not about ad location but rather where is this traffic coming from..

    I think most of your users or readers knows about adsense and thats why they do not click on ads.

    This happen most probably due to low quality traffic or non-targeted traffic

    Try going for a more upheal placement. A place where people see ad rather than just inserting it in corner bring it on in front up.

    You could try putting the ads on different positions and change the text color to match your website. After trying a few, you'll get the most suitable position for your Website
