Hi all, I have a big problem with my CTR on my http://fatdestruction.com/fat-burning-furnace/ blog. For instance last 7 days I had 1000 unique visitors and ONLY 27 Hops and 2 sales. Ok 2 sales maybe not too bad, but 2.7% CTR to the vendor page is nearly nothing. /I tried to cloak the links, but that not helped/ All of my visitors to that page was highly targetted / "product name" - review -scam -how it works -buy, etc../ So please can somebody take a look to my blog, I need to find out what is the problem, cause I dont know what to do. Thanks
That's some great SEO man, but basically, you need to learn how to blog. You're reviews don't seem genuine enough to get people to actually click on your affiliate links. So 1000 hits, and 2 sales. So your onsite conversion rate is .002. Not too bad, really. Because that's what my conversion rate is, but I'm not getting 1000 per day.
1. Take out Google Adsense, and put product's banner 2. Make a proper header for a review to catch attention 3. Create a NOTICABLE "continue" type button/link to go to the vendor's website
Thanks for your advice. I ve only 2-3 clicks to my adsense units per day, so this is not a big problem. Yeah maybe I ve to use some call to action, for example some free offer, if somebody use my link to click through to the vendor page. I had some review pages with 30% CTR to the vendor page, so I really dont know what I do wrong now.
Yeah you've got to pre-sell the user. That's literally what our job is. Give them something enticing to click on. All I see when I visit that blog is a wall of text that makes my eyes bleed. TIP: Use a bigger font and say less. Get right to the point, make them curious and wanting to know more then give them a big ass button to do it. They'll get all the long sales copy they can stand on the publisher's page.
When I visited I got a warning from Norton saying the site was unsafe (15 computer threats). I got the heck out of there quickly and didn't get a chance to see much. Perhaps other people are getting this also and are evacuating your site quickly. It might be something to check into.
The page looked really boring and looked like nothing to get excited about. You gotta presell like mentioned above and show the benefits and features on why it's a good product. Research is key, the more knowledgeable you are the more persuasive you will be. Think about it when you want to buy something from a computer store, are u looking for a sales associate that takes the job like a joke and knows zilch about computers or would you want help from someone who knows a crap load about computers before you buy? You need to write and make pleasing to the eye a review that will make someone click to read more about the product. Also add your personal opinions and tips. Purchasing the product yourself or making it sound like you have purchased it(use correct wording - nothing wrong with making someone assume) or know someone who has purchased it will increase sales and clicks as well. Remember to cause a sense of urgency increases sales and clickthroughs by 50% peace
Mate, I wouldn't worry about CTR, just keep testing, testing, and testing...until you get those magic conversion numbers. The important thing is that your vendor's landing page is converting at almost 10%. Just do the math from there brother and you'll have future with that product...
You've got WAY too many links and distractions on your site - I would get rid of the adsense, the tags, the blogroll, the contact us, the post a comment etc. Basically I strip the wordpress theme down to literally just the presell. The only links available to my visitors are the links to the Clickbank product - their only other option is to click away and leave the site. You absolutely must have a strong call to action as well (plus it needs to be bigger) - it's actually not that easy to see where to click through to the merchant site.
