1000 uniques

how much money should you be making on adsense, if you get around 1000 uniques/day

 

Thats a very open ended question. Earnings depend on a lot of factors such as the niche, how much traffic you receive, how effective your ads are at attracting clicks etc

 

Whats the average CPC, or the niche type?

 

I'll try and answer - just an educated guess based on what I consider a 'normal' CTR and price per click:

A fairly reasonable CTR is 5%, so for 1000 UPV this equals 50 clicks. I guess most AdSense clicks pay in the range 5 - 20 cents, so your earnings could be in the region of $2.50 and $10.

Just estimates on my part, but probably reasonable figures. Depends on the type of ad clicked, source of traffic and niche.

 

I would 1000 impressions should atleast pay you more than pay per impression ads.. (so more than $2 - $4 for sure).

 

Man! Let's say you have site with service or product which after all your expenses give you $100 and very very very crap conversion rate like 0.1% and traffic 1000/day. You will sell 1/day. That is $100 a day!!! Without adsense and risk of getting banned, also there is other risks, but it sounds more reasonable today.

 

I agree. Again it depends on his niche... but yeah, much like portfolio sites who earn nothing from adsense and have little traffic YET gain a lot more $$ from interested clients

 

That's what I am talking about If you have site with 10k uniques already try some ad networks. If not - go develop more traffic and sell your services or other people products. Today is 2007, not 2003-2004. However when YPN will go international... if it will... then oh my god!!!

 

1000 uniques/day would translate into 30-50 clicks for one of my sites, and each click runs between $2 to $11. That could yield anywhere between $60 to $600

 

And how long you are in adsense ? And what is your current traffic...and earnings ? Will it be possible for you to get 1000/day in your niche ?

 

Nobody can answer your question without knowing the niche, ad placement, and etc. What's your site?

 

How many impressions are your 1000 unique? It can be anywhere from 1-10 impressions per unique hit.

 

Like everyone is saying, there are way too many variables too determine a specific figure. CTR, CPC are key to what you make. Some nich sites will earn an lot more than others.

 

from my experience- 1,000 uniques at 10 pageviews per visit at $7 eCPM is $70

 

Let say you have 10 websites and your earning on daily basis is $700

 

my prediction is ~$12 per day

 

those are real numbers and i do wish i had 10 sites that performed like that. i would be on a beach somewhere.

 

you should make ~4$ BUT it mainly depends on your niche and CTR as some niche pays well and some doesnt .
It would be better if you run it and check it yourself .

 

I am surprised about the numbers some people throw out here. If I read the polls on CPM I am above average, but I see nowhwere near the numbers people in this thread claim for 1000 uniques.
In fact I am making about $4-$5 per 1000 uniques (like I said I get good paying ads). Granted my CTR isn't as high either, but thats a question of philosophy (people are less likely to come back if they are bombarded with ads)
Otherwise it depends on a lot of factors. Forums are notoriously converting worse than other sites.

i am doing something wrong... my average is around 2%
