1000+ Uniques - $1 a day

I've a simple blog site that has gotten quite popular over the last few weeks.

It got over 1000 unique visits yesterday and is on track for 1500 today.

I've one adsense banner at the top but it only seems to get a small number of low paying clicks. I've Amazon on there too which does well. Is it worth putting further Adsense ads up or perhaps use a different scheme?

Any suggestions about this and placement welcome.

you should put ads inside the post. Your leaderboard is getting ignored since it looks like a part of your header.

i would suggest getting rid of header and putting inside post ads.

Well maybe people go there to find that girl's info and don't care for the irrelevant adsense?

 

Try to put a half banner between the post and the comment box

 

I changed the layout and added some more ads. it got 1500 uniques yesterday and $2.00 from Adsense and 22 sales at Amazon.

Guess I'll keep playing with the Adsense ad placements until I find something that works a bit better
