Man, you guys are making my head spin. I 've just finished looking at my web stats and see that each of my sites average about 40 uniques. Looks like I'm on my way to ritches....NOT! Yikes, i'm definately doing something wrong.

20,000 uniques! ugh! I wish! I average 9% CTR...i really could be in the money.

According to what I currently make, I'll need around 112,000 impressions/day to make $1000/day. Hmm, I just need to increase my traffic by 40X!!!

I feel that the earnings depends on the Ads that appear and also the clicks from different IPs.

If u get more clicks from same IP, the revenue will be less..

    Thanks,

I have those impressions each day, still I don't make $100/day. Stupid 0.10 cent clicks...

Sorry I made a miscalculation, it was late at night haha, I meant to say that when you have a eCPM of around 5 dollar you'd need 200.000 impressions. So if 1 visitors counts for around 10 impressions you'd need 20.000+ visitors per day, however 10 impressions per visitor is quite high I suppose.

Exactly. It seems that adsense is not paying as well as they use to. More money can be made in other advertising areas if you have the kind of traffic mentioned above...of course it may require more work...but the cash in would be worth it.

Same here, sites with no advertising are doing 10-25 uniques per day.
Sites with a tad of advertising, from 25-100.
Sites I do not advertise at all, get from 100-200 a day.
    Figure that out!

Well, I did figure it out...seems I rank like number one to number 3 on msn for a bunch of keywords and the traffic is coming from there.

If only google was as fast as msn in getting my sites on, and at the keywords as number 1-3 like msn, I would be a happy camper.

Easiest way to find some good decent affiliate programs is to go to clickbank.
Then (they have no good way to search! an improvement they have promised for some years now) find products that match your site.
Again, do not be like so many other so-called marketers and try to sell products that have nothing to do with your site. This just confuses visitors.
Ever been to a site, say a car site, and see banners and text links selling advertising?

Or do a google search using your main keyword to see who else sells or has a site like yours (your competition as it were).
Then see if they have an affiliate program.

For sure, you should have on just about any site, amazon.

Sometimes even one penny. I break my stuff down by channel and I have seen 1 cent for a click more than once - those might have been CPM ads rather than CPC but the point is the same: while averages are higher, some ads just aren't worth very much and if your site is attracting that kind of ad, that's just the way it is.

That's one of the reasons I track so relentlessly: I want to know where to put my efforts, where the best bang for the buck is. I'm not saying that I'm going to change my website to asbestos info, but if I see that writing about hard drives is more lucrative than writing about modems (to use a ridiculous example), I'll write more about disk drives. If I see that 338 word articles do better than those that are shorter or those that are longer, I'm going to try to write 338 words on the nose. In other words, I'm not going to do something completely different, but I will mold my activities toward better paying results.

Ouch, you're using a low CPC at category then judging by that. It all depends on what your site is targetting. If you have useless ads that no advertisers pay for then you won't make much per click. If you can change the type of ads being rotated to higher paying keywords then you'll be making at least double that. Because it's Google it doesn't really offer that option but YPN does currently.

Either way 120 day is nothing to be "unhappy" with :)
