1000 Links To Home Page vs. Inside Pages

    Hi,

I am beginning a campaign to build 1000 incoming links. However I am not sure what is the best approach. Should I direct all of the 1000 links to the homepage of my site or should I distribute them evenly so that each one of my site's 50 pages gets 20 incoming links? Which method will bring more organic search engine traffic?

    Thanks

I'm no expert, but if I were you, I'd gradually work to achieve 20 incoming links for 50 pages. By gradually, I mean over the course of a 2-3 months so red flags aren't raised on g00gs end. Either route though, if you were to gain 1,000 backlinks over the course of a day or week, you might receive penalties from goog.

yeah, take your time and wait to see what keywords are already bringing in traffic. you may want to save some of those links for some internal pages that you really want to get found, but aren't.

If I were you, I would receive my links slowly (like others have said). I would also have the links pointing mostly to the inner pages, unless your home page has content on it as well. Make sure the inner pages point back to the homepage and you will be good.
