Every once in a while my job in the auto industry has a perk or two. Today just happened to be one of those days. I got to go over to the Saleen fabrication warehouse in Ahaheim. For those of you who don't know Saleen, Steve Saleen has been doing performance upgrades for primarily the Ford Mustang for quite a few years. He also builds race cars for the Le Mans race series plus the S7 Supercar. I had to take a Dodge Charger to their shop and the shop manager gave me a quick tour of the place including all of their CNC machine areas, plus fabrication & carbon fiber rooms. Very impressive. They machine almost all of the parts for these race upgrades. The best part was I got to sit in a 1000 horsepower S7 supercar. Click on the link below. But it was still fun to see all of the great cars and equipment they have. Take a look at the coupes in the background. 800 horsepower in that red one in the left.
