    I was looking at the recent "came from" traffic details on my directory and just found this list of 1000 free directories. I think this is a good list to share with you guys :)

    I just went to try to begin submitting. Right off the bat, first two directories were NOT free....:( That was enough for me to stop checking. I'm not gonna get through half a submission just to have to turn around because it's not free.

    1st Site:
    Featured links $29.99
    Regular links $5.99

    2nd Site:
    Featured links $15.95
    Regular links $9.95
    Regular links with reciprocal $7.5

    It will cost the submitter WAY more than the $99 he's charging to submit to those directories. I'd be very skeptical about that deal. Would've been a great find if it were true.

    Well, I paid for the service ($99 for submission to 1,000 directories) so we'll see if they do the work. If not, I'll just have the PayPal charge reversed.

    Just a quick follow up. I found elsewhere in the forums where people will submit your site to twice as many directories for half the price, so I canceled my order. The seller was nice enough to approve the refund of my money.
