Hiya, I've been spending 1k a month for about 2 years with a SEO company. They have got my site to a PR4 and about 430 backlinks I see in yahoo site explorer and about 6k uniques a months. My question to the professionals here is am I spending to much money for this service? Could this thousand dollars a month be utilized better? Thanks for your time.
Wow you are getting RIPPED off. My premier web directory submission service would yield you a helluva lot better results and it's a lot cheaper. Drop me a PM if you're interested in anything I have to offer, but honestly, the bottom line is that your money can be spent on link-building and/or links in general. And check out the red text in my signature while you're at it. That may be of interest to you as well.
Wow.. that's a lot of money spent there.. But that can be very relative. Do they manage to achieve the goal that you have? Did you made any profit when you were/are using their SEO service?
Hi Cheekui, I make a tiny profit but sometimes break even. As far as I can tell is all they are doing is managing my links page an occasionally submitting to some directorys. I'm really looking for a more full service agency that will do everything in the art of link building. It seems in two years I should get more backlinks then 430
Yes you should, You are paying way to much for what you are getting. I would say ask around or look around. I know people that charge maybe $500 for 1,000 quality backlinks. There are many ways you can boost your PR and this company you are with is hosing you.
I think you should stop using their service and avoid yourself being ripped off. There are many people that can help you to get better ranking for your keywords in the search engine result placements. Try a month in DP and you will know what I am talking about
a) You should have way more than 400 backlinks b) The real question is: how are you doing in the SERPs? Either way, ditch them. If you're ranked well, get outta there and keep link building. If not then they've really overstayed their welcome.
Fk me. I would say any competiant SEO on DigitalPoint Forums could do what they did in less than 4 weeks. That is without having to spend any dollars on link building.
Wow. You should REALLY have a talk with them and see what the heck they are doing for you. $1K/month? Are you ranking for *DECENT* keywords? Getting lots of traffic? Maybe you're not making enough money due to poor optimization in regards with ads. Think it over... I wouldn't spend $1,000/month on SEO unless the company was ranking me top 10 for certain keywords.
Actually 1k a month by just submitting your site on directories is such waste. It's ok to spend 1K a month if you think that all of the links that you're getting is related and quality links. Actually you can lower your spending up to $500 with quality and related links if you would give the project on SEO freelancer. The advantage of giving your project on SEO company is that you can assure that all of your files are secured.
$1000 a month for 2 years.. and you have 430 links? I am not an SEO service provider or an SEO expert.. but I think I can manage to get more links backlinks than that ) Just 6k UV per month with so much effort? Is it a super competitive work like 'loan/loans'?
1000$ for just submitting website and only 430 back links in 2 years I don't think it's good you should try other company or firm
i think you're just spending money pal, you can do it all alone. or you can give it to me and you'll pay more less than that.
Hi Stevo, If the company you are with is a professional company and not a one man band then I don't think that you're getting ripped off, contrary to what other may say here. I used to work for a major SEO agency here in London and I can tell you that $1,000 (£500) per month doesnt really buy you much. The amount of sheer time it takes to build and develop backlinks, interlinking, content etc inprecendented. If you're running a business site then Im sure you can appreciate you wont have time to do this. What kind of deliverables has the company promised? To me, I dont think that you're paying over the odds at all, if you're getting good traffic, backlinks and seeing an increase in quality traffic then its a job well done (although theres ALWAYS room for improvement). Good luck with everything. Regards Zaheer
