1000 directory submissions, good or bad?

I see people are offering 1000 directory submissions here on this forum.

My question is:

1. Is it a good idea to buy this service?

2. Will this give me a SERP boost ?

3. Is it usefull or not ?

4. Over how many days do I have to devide these submissions ?

5. Will Google count these submissions as backlinks or not ?

 

Directory submissions aren't that valuable anymore. However, I don't suspect that you will have much of a problem in terms of getting sandboxed especially if the links are indexed gradually over time.

I wouldn't pay more than about $5.00 for this service because all he is doing is running it through his automated software I'm sure.

 

I tried, and I doubted that they submit my website to 1000 direcotries. Maybe only 10 or more they did. since I haven't really receive many emails from directories. You better do it by yourself.

 

If they really submit the website, then yes it could have some positive effect.
But i wont expect a huge turn around on serp.

 

I wouldnt recommend it, but if you must, make sure you already have some links and your domain isnt brand new.

 

1000 in a single day is surely bad specially for a new domain. but if you divide it over few days according to what you are already doing to build links, then its okay.
Using automated software is not recommended for directory submission as they can not put your site in right categories and it will not be approved. Alway go for manual directory submission and surely manual submission can cost you more than if anyone offer you automated submission.

1000 directory submission in a day is very very bad idea, because you coudn't get confirmation links from tha directory with is a day it will take some more times to approve your website. you can submit your website in a high page rank directories like dmoz.org and etc.....

 

If those did on manual then huge turn around on serp.

well, results would depend upon the nature and quality of directories. if they are great in nature and quality then this activity would certainly help your website getting boost in SERP

 

It all depend on the type of directories. Some do have value while others are really crap. But it should not hurt your SERP.

 

Directory Submission is good for any site but it should be following a relevant process. Some thing are consider in Directory Submission like directory site, Category, domain name, title, description these are very important. And if 1000 directory you are submitting that it would be done in a month according another work which are you doing for your website. And directory submission is needed confirmation mail for your site.

Thousand directory submission in month, its too much. Please don't do it blindly. I think 100 per month is enough for particular keyword. The best of doing directory submissions is search specific and local directories with good pr for your site. This will give more privilege to your website on Google SERP. Today online visibility will make difference.

directory submission kind of offpage seo technique that used to increase backlinks. this is really simple technique and time consuming process. it takes too much time to approval.

 

100 submission per month is more than enough...

 

You can go for this service but check it that he is not using any automatic software for this, because due to this your site will be penalized by Google.

 

Don't trust too much on what they offer.
And also, directory submissions is not that given too much value.
Although it is still a good strategy for link building
