sorry i dont know much about this advertising thing but. If someone had a link on a site and say 1000 people clicked on it would how much would that guy that owned the site make if he was using a pay per click thing
I can do thousends of clicks if you want - this just says nothing! If you don't know more (what visitors, what content, what kind of link - and what text for the link) I wouldn't recommend to buy anything. Tobias
Other metrics apply, like the location of the people clicking, how they got to your site (i.e. natural search engine traffic), etc.
HUCK: sorry i dont know much about this advertising thing but. If someone had a link on a site and say 1000 people clicked on it would how much would that guy that owned the site make if he was using a pay per click thing Huck, are you asking about organic search (Natural search engine) or In-organic (Pay-per-click) for 1000 clicks ?? Thanks, Samroy!
I believe Huck is asking how much money would link which had been clicked 1000 would bring using PPC such as Adsense. Of course, the answer would be: it depends For some topics you can get over $1 per UV, some crazy legal related topics can bring in well over that. Then again if it is a very generic topic the price might be under $0.10 or less. In any case, do not even think about trying to do the clicking yourself, you will get banned faster than you can say cheese.
If you are buying a link that gets 1000 clicks, then you would need to figure out how many of those visitors are targetted. Speaking of that, if you are trying to buy 1000 clicks, they probably aren't targetted (even if they say "Targetted Visitors") and that would be a waste of money.
this is not a good question probably but what's the average PPC rate for most people to set? just for any keyword... I mean I am sure not many set $1 for one click for example..
I would imagine that this question could quite possibly be one of the most "it depends" question out there, at least top 10. I'm sure that you realize this since you prefaced with "it is not a good question probably". It boils down to what you are marketing, profit margin, and how many other people you are competing against for keywords. While very common and washed out keywords are being bought up for a minimum bid of $.02, there are those that are going for much higher, in the dollars.
