With $1000, you can try Google Adwords, or buy banner at someone else blog, you could advertise on a very famous blog with this price and get tonnes of traffics in return. But for me, I won't waste the money to promote my blog, not worth it. Why pay for something that we can do it ourselves?
depends how you are going to make money as well. Do you think you the $1000 will generate more than $1000 in the long run. You could try a program like IBP
I looked at isnare their service looks good and more cost effective as compared to the ones offered at DP. I certainly hope that.
A blog must be grown organically, naturally, with real good content. I would rather spend $1000 getting good titles written by great writers, make them the main article of your blog, best part, write it so they are dig worthy. Few press releases will also make it good, though PR's result varies. EDIT: if you have done all the social bookmarking, blog reviews, directory subs, but have no good content, your blog is still worthless.
Use that money for: 1. Professional Web Design 2. Manual Directory Submission ($20) 3. Xrumer backlink building service ($20) 4. Other SEO Services (around $50?, look around in the forum) 5. Advertisements (as cheap as you can on the best possible websites) Other than that, everything else is free, such as: posting your blog posts in forums (forums related to your topic, then linking back to your site in the post) blog commenting (use commentkahuna) social bookmarking websites (use an automatic program) twitter (gain followers using hummingbird, with crack, and tweet everytime you have a new post) tubemogul (this website submits your videos to multiple video sites, and if you include your keyword, you will rank higher in the search engines) yahoo answers (ask a question about your keyword, create another account and answer it, linking back to your website, use a proxy when you answer it on a different account, you will rank higher in search engines) blog topsites (submit your blog to topsites or toplists, your blog should make it to page 1 or 2 of google for your keyword) Basically, you pay people for their services to do the above. So yes, your budget can go to use. If your blog is in a good niche with excellent content, you will succeed.
