Haha well I'd say I'd buy the service in my sig . Since it's from my own website through it kind of makes no sense paying myself. For my own websites circumstances I'd probably spend most of it on Adwords, we've found it gives the best conversion rate for what we offer. In a totally cookoo crazy-as-you-can-get way, I'd probably pay for a bunch of topless models to run around all of the business estates and shops holding signs advertising our website.

I would buy a load of DP sigs first. Buy some advertising on a few webmaster forums. Maybe have a contest.
I would create a very optimized Adwords campaign. If you do a good amount of research (keyword, market, etc), $1000 could do wonders through Adwords.
Adword is the best way..you will get targeted visitor from million of sites over there..just paying Google /Yahoo the cost..
Yup, adwords and press release would be a way to go. But both these techniques ask for smart advertisers.
I would use at least half of that money to get some good featured listings in directories because building relevant backlinks for your keywords will pay off huge in the long-run by sending you quality traffic from the search engines. For the other half I would look at getting some high traffic banner spaces.
I would buy a 6 pack and sit in front of my computer with article submitter and start posting articles and save my $1000 ok am kidding i think the t-shirt idea was good i never would of came up with that. adwords campaign would work well i think buy some advertising and maybe some press release That the way i would go.........
