Working with a senior company and they have a tall logo. I've tried a few things to make it work, but nothing that is making my jaw drop. Here is the current header: https://summitseniorlife.s3.us-east...sts/Screen+Shot+2020-01-02+at+10.39.52+AM.png And here is a simple attempt that I made, but am not overly excited about: https://summitseniorlife.s3.us-east...sts/Screen+Shot+2020-01-02+at+10.39.36+AM.png The current logo can be found here: https://summitseniorlife.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/design-contests/SUMMIT_SL_p_cmyk.ai Here are our brand colors as well: https://summitseniorlife.s3.us-east...gn-contests/SSL_Brand_Style_Guide_2018_lo.pdf I do like how this logo does work into the header (but is not required to go this route since it may not work for our design): The links in the top half here (https://summitseniorlife.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/design-contests/Screen Shot 2020-01-02 at 10.39.36 AM.png) are what should be used. Each section will have a simple dropdown with more options. The white secondary menu appears when someone is looking at one of our community pages and does not have to be included per se. I am open to suggestions, however. The winner will receive $100 paid upon final approval via PayPal or Venmo. In addition, this could lead to multiple landing page design contracts down the road as we redesign portions of our website. I will be providing feedback over the course of the contest but may not comment on each individual submission. Thank you and best of luck!
Thanks for the quick build. The main reason we are redesigning the header is to get away from the multi-colored logo. It looks weird, especially on mobile. I would like to try to keep the logo all on one background if possible or like above where the entire background overlays another.
This is the exact same as the attempt in the actual post here: https://summitseniorlife.s3.us-east...sts/Screen+Shot+2020-01-02+at+10.39.36+AM.png
Hi Guys, great attempts! The secondary menu with the items overview, photo gallery, amenities, floor plans, and events is a sub-menu. That is not shown on every page, so I am not sure we can use that in the overall design.
So far, I think this is the best entry. I like how it flows with the website design. I also like how it is one row instead of multiple.
