Contest $100 Website Design Tweak

I have website that was redone a few months back. It is still not live. I like the design but it seems that it could be better.
I would like to keep the overall design but make it better. It looks a little rough and not professional.
96 hour contest and will pay through pay-pal as soon as it is completed.

So are you asking us to just tweak the design or do coding also?

 

I am just asking to tweak the design only. The front page and the side menu of the inner pages.

The inner page is the same as the front with the only difference the side menu. I did not use the one on the psd but a plain one that shows up on the website. The side menu also needs to be changed.

i don't see many changes except for the pest library bar and i don't care for the new one.

the overall design looks good. it looks professional and not too flashy.
originally i was opposed to having the background colored but looking at your design i am open to it.
i do like the header components better on the old one. Like the request and the sign in buttons
i think maybe the menu bar is a little too wide
the pest library seems too simple
i don't care for the box around the affiliations

thanks for your entry. looks better but not what i was looking for. The element that i like better than the original is the menu bar.

no I am not looking for a complete redesign. I like the old layout, it just has to be tweaked. It just seemed not to be smooth and professional enough.
