My 900th post, so wanted to do something bit more special (I wonder why that is... every time new 100 posts or 1000 posts is done) I'm not going to do all the work, so I want you to help me out with this. Let's list 100 ways that ain't NOT going to get any more sales (and then of course learn & do the opposite) 1) whining 2) complaining 3) blaming google 4) worrying that others make more money than you 5) making useless posts 1079 times in forums 6) focusing on just getting sales (instead of providing value for example) 7) blaming government 8) blaming family 9) saying that you have stupid co-workers 10) "knowing" everything 11) being afraid of mistakes 12) not doing mistakes (=mistakes are good way to learn) 13) not having a mailing list 14) not having partners that can help you with your sales 15) ignoring feedback 16) focusing on trolling 17) being a smart-ass 18) seeing that since Mr. Big-Internet-Marketing-Guru is making $109,005.00 in adsense sales, thinking that Adsense is the best option in your case (tip: it might be, or it might not - see next tip) 19) not testing (your ads, products, prices... you name it) 20) building Made-for-adsense sites 21) fooling somebody in site/domain/link sales (you might fool once, but you cannot keep doing that for long - people make bigger sales with credible persons) 22) thinking small 23) having no goals (what are your objectives for year 2008?) 24) not helping & thanking others 25) not writing more tips to this list There you go, the first 25 ideas that came to my mind.

47) if you have to take your site offline for any reason, having a clear notice saying you'll be back in the New year is ok I guess in the circumstances - but not pausing your adwords means you are just throwing money away ...(I've just this minute seen a site doing this)
