I have sites with 1000s of views and limited earnings and sites with 100s of views with very decent earnings. It is all add placement and ad type. Make use of the various layouts (i.e. Ad Links, Horizontal and Vertical). I find that some of the banner ads do not perform as well as my Link ads. People are getting accustomed to ignoring larger picture ads because they know it will take them away to another site. boxcar
You have to understand that it is not all about how many visitors you get per day. There are may factors that applies to your Ad. For instance, about 4 months ago, once I had 3000 visitors visited inone day, but Google Adsense gave me less than a three dollars. Of course, at this point, I was not very smart with my adsense location. Another time, I earned up to $90 about 5 months ago, when I only had 500 visitors. So, there you go. The greatest mystery of Adsense. I am finding private and sponsor Ad much more profitable these days. The value jumps at least by ten to fifteen times more. I would suggest that if you are really serious about your website, it is not a bad idea to find some Google experts for your site. Some of them our very pricy, but you could learn some valuable lessons from them.

Wow... I m Pretty New in Adsense, I've got 200 - 400 or more view/day but my earning only $ 0.01 - $ 2 a day.. I think I need more study on it, and today with 388 view I got $ 0.17 only..
All depends on your niche really. I find that me earnings fluctuate dramatically on a daily basis, even given the same amount of clicks.
