    yes that was because we were undergoing a major hardware upgrade at that time. this is the first downtime we have had for past 2months. (i think it is justified)

    also, all the customers were informed of this upgrade beforehand

    yeah... I faced that downtime too:mad:. I talked to him and he said it was due to RAM upgrade. just that after that downtime which occured due to the ram upgrade, the servers are running at lightening speed.
