I know there is no "best" affiliate program, but what are my main options given that i don't have that much traffic (or PR for that matter)? Thanks
Hi, To answer this we really need to know how you are going to promote your affiliate offers, including niche, subject, etc.
more than how i would say who... who are the users of your website? if you know who they are then will be easier to market them.
Interesting. I think about this often as it related to one of my blogs. After much trial and error, it became clear that the affiliate products I was listing were not well-suited for my audience. Moving from selling products to earning money for signing people up turned out to be the key. For me, it has been a continual process of trial and error. I've discovered, too, that traffic is incredibly important. It's just like a brick and mortar store. A product will sit on the shelf unsold if no one walks by and purchases it. Focus on developing traffic. Let us know how you're doing. Honestly, I find the individuals on this forum so incredibly helpful.
Depending on who the users of your site are and why they came to you in the first place. Did they find you via search engines? If so, what keywords did they use to find you? Market around that! Or to quote the old chewing gum producer Wrighley: "Everbody loves something for nothing", try to see if you can offer tehm some kind of free signup, which will in turn get you paid. But with 100 uniques per day, you could have some ads, from Adsense for example, and make a few dollars per month from those. I guess it would cover your hosting costs at least.
