    Sorry for the newbie question, but the minimum 100 dollars does not need to be earned in a period one month to be payed out, correct?

    I'm using adsense for my blog http://photoshopinfo.blogspot.com. And just a few days ago I started using Blog Explosion and my traffic has increased exponentially. It's great, I recommend it to anyone with a blog

    The question is: What quality is the traffic you receive?

    Most of the users who "visit" your site via BE just want to get more visitors for their own weblog, too, so they don't really care what's on your site, or click any banners... They just zap through all the sites.

    of course, a tiny %age will find some interesting blogs, but it's the minority :)

    I attribute my fantastic earnings to little content (20 pages indexed) with all ads in the footer well below the fold and barbaric navigation. June finished as a stellar month with close to 300 imprints and 0 clicks! Not bad for a site that I threw togather 4 years ago and have worked on maybe three times since ;)

    Seriously though. Low traffic personal web sites are not known for high ctr's.

    BlogExplosion does bring you visitors. I get between 100-300 unique visitors per day from BlogExplosion.

    Not to mention, while surfing around the site, I came across several very cool blogs that I now frequent! Blogs I never knew existed. So I'm pretty happy with it.
