    theres a website called stumbleupon which lets people recomend websites to other stumbleupon users. people view recomended websites by installing a toolbar in internet explorer and clicking the "stumble" button. the more times a site is recomended the more likley it is to be recomended to other people.

    I can't say I'm satisfied with the service as I don't get any traffic from this service, I don't get tagged, no reviews, and many of the "votes" didn't show up at the review page.

    Well, at least he did 100 stumbles for my site (not sure if it's really from 100 IPs) and hopefully would get me a backlink.

    Traffic jumped from 100 per day to 900+ the day the work was done. (Yesterday)

    One thing to remember is stumbleupon is for very cool sites that anyone would like.

    If your site sells life insurance, mortgage loans, herbal medicines or credit card debt solutions... etc then it is not likely going to do well.

    Your money would be better spent in traditional marketing venues.

    Not every form of advertising works the same for each of us.
