Contest $100 Racing Theme WP Page Design

I am offering a $100 contest (bonus is possible) for the best (PSD) Wordpress page design for my client. However, I am only looking for a design for the main index page, which will consist of 1-2 recent blog postings pulled from the blog. Images needed!

Just to wrap up. I want a cool main page for the site that will list 1-2 of the most recent blog postings, along with the other links. Feel free to add your own thoughts or suggestions or ideas as the way the site currently stand it is a single colour page with text and links. that's it....

Interesting concept, but not quite what I am looking for. There is too much country and not enough racing. Also, I can't decide if it is too realistic or not enough web 2.0.

Sorry, no examples. Just use your creativity. I liked what you were going at before. Just less realistic.

Interesting design, but the header and footer are WAY to plain. I want something more professional and web 2.0.

Wow! Great designs. I really prefer v2. Any chance you can make the header image a little smaller (top to bottom). Great job though!
