$100 PSD only design, one page city hotel reservations website

Hi, I just finished my design, I hope it will be of
welcome, I tried to give it a Web 2.0, and manage
cool colors.

 

@Mr.LeGeNd: thanks for the revision, looks good and at the moment no changes are necessary, but maybe at the end of the contest I will ask for one or two minor changes.

 

@gothicdead: thanks for your design, it's not bad, but I am also not a big fan of it. Maybe it helps if you can incorporate the following suggestions.

- The language section is important and therefore needs to be up in the header somewhere and not in the footer.

- Not sure if I like the balloon in the search box, it covers the search box too much and I don't see the relevance of a balloon with respect to making hotel reservations.

- There need to be different colors and not only the screaming kind of green, maybe not that kind of green anywhere.

- Rounded corners would be nice in the other parts as well.

- Can you change the logo/building image to something else, as this looks too much like a stock pictures of the 90's.

Sorry for the all the suggestions, but I still see some potential, hence the requests.

Oh, one more, the many very visible watermarks make it unnecessary hard to see the real design.

 

Ok of course, makes some changes to see if he surprised =)

 

@mx84: nice design, like it. But of course I do have some suggestions...

- Can you remove the "more search options" and "children" from the search box.

- I am not really sure about the thingy in the top of the search box, it looks a bit old fashioned to me. Can you change it into something different?

- The featured hotels and special deals sections both look a bit plain, not sure what to change, but hopefully you have some ideas to brighten it up down there a bit.

Thank you all very much for your designs and I will posts some feedback soon.

Also I have decided to end the contest in 24 hours from now and most likely there will be more then one winner, but I have to do some thinking first and post feedback for the new designs and probably ask some questions through PM.

@atlpworld@rediffmail.com: looks nice, but can you please make following changes.

- I only see 3 languages, but in total there needs to be 6 languages. Please read the first post and include all languages.

- Please remove "children" and "more search options" from the search box as both of them are not needed/wanted.

- Can you find a nice image about Sonoma and include that in the design instead of the stockphoto.

- Can you tell me what the wide of the design is, how many pixels, as it doesn't look like it's 1024px wide, as requested.

Thank you all once again for your beautiful designs, it was a tough choice to decide on a winner and I know I said it would be tomorrow, but since I got all questions answered today, I am ready to announce the winner!
