I have bought 100 PR3 Link in a sidebar link on 100 Blogspot site. One link each site. All blogs are having a PR3. My links are placed in the sponsors section along with my text tag. How much will it affect in a getting me a Page Rank for my site. What page rank can i expect this update. My current page rank is 0. Please help me so that i can work more on my site as i need a good page rank this update.
Have you bought 100 pr3 links. If so are they from seperate c-class ip's, are they from websites that relate to yours ie. health, home improvement? They are many ways to increase your pr such as building good content on your website, promote it via social bookmarking. Ask bloggers to do a review of your website and get a link back. Never just try one thing, a combination of different tactics usally works best.
Just another thought. You say your links are placed in a sponsered section, this means Google will know that you have paid for these links so they should have a non-follow and if that is the case no link juice will come from those links. So your pr will not increase, if however they don't have a non-follow they could get you banned from google.
Can you give me an example of some of the links and I will happily check them for you. Best bet is to pm me them.
If you are measuring the PR by the google toolbar PR, then you are wasting your money. The real PR is not visible and is updated frequently. The google toolbar PR is purely for entertainment and catching spammers.
Exactly Slash84, people believe something without having tested it for themselves and so the rumour gathers momentum. Why is it that webmasters worry about pr, lets face it it is more to do with kudos than anything else. PR doesn't help your ranking in serp's I have n/a pages that rank higher than pr3. If you have a good page of content that relates well to your reader that's important. Getting good links so as people can be guided to your content is worth the effort if when they get there they will find it helpful. And good links will help you move up in serp's. But why worry about PR what does it do to benefit your website, Nothing in my considered opinion.
Only reason I've seen for wanting PR is to be able to sell links for more. Which is easy money if you do it discretely I think. Just can't abuse it otherwise you'll lose the PR you tried to get in the first place.
Dont you think you are getting scammed here? 100 PR3 wont raise your PR that much.. for 1st update you mihgt get PR2 or PR3 and for the next update you might only get PR4 or PR5 and stay there forever.. Higher PR (more than 6) requirement is you have to be listed on DMOZ. (this is what i heard and read)
You have to add this link step-by-step, on every few day. To maximize efficienty try to add links from other sources to.
If 100 PR3 links are in the same url (website), this will not help your website. So your website need to get links in different urls. If you get 100 PR0 links in different 100 urls (websites). This way will help your website in SEO & SERP purposes. If your page is PR0 (which gets backlinks from the 100 PR0), your website will become a PR1 - PR3 page.
