Month and a half old site
Over 100 pages indexed with google, 4 or 5 with yahoo.
    Decided to change my urls.
Now most pages are "page not found"
Get a couple hundred uniques only a day.

My question is. Will google and yahoo punish me in the long run or sandbox me for the majority of my indexed pages disappearing?

For seo purposes the url change had to be done. ty for advice as always

Re-submit your site, or a sitemap (xml). I can't quite recall where I've read it but you can google about deleting cached versions of the previous URLs of your pages. IMO, it doesn't entail for a penalty when changing URLs, you just lose your place in the rankings. Getting re-indexed though will pull you up again. Good luck!
