Please don't mis-quote me. What I said was work on link to your homepage AND improve internal linking structure (ie. more links to homepage and then point links from your homepage to your deeper pages) THAT will help the deep pages. Simply increasing IBLs to your homepage won't do anything for your inner pages by itself. I do....
Right so pages in Supplemental have and old cache? Really, well i'd be stupid to take on a project and assume that, the page may have been cached yesterday for the first time in months.. I see a fresh date and assume it's not supplemental i'd be totally wrong just as you are. Ok so there's no "rule", maybe it is and maybe it isn't.. Not a real good system is it as you would be completely guessing. My point makes plenty of sense. You stated "searching a unique string off that page, it won't show up if it's in Supplemental". Again, wrong of course it will show up and this again does not show any indication if the page is in Supplemental. Search "SEO Company" yes that's right, i'm top 5 in the world beating some of the biggest names in the industry. That's funny considering i know nothing. Are you finished yet?
no problem with me...use your super magic secret tool to find out the supplemental pages......I clearly stated those are some things to check and pay attention to..... www.domain.com/& that was your idea right? Use it and enjoy this great method to find the supplemental pages... You must be right....after all you are seo guru as you proudly state I won't continue this stupid pointless fight with you...
If i can find a single command to instantly check the status of an entire domain, you bet i'll use it. You obviously havn't owned too many 100,000 page domains if you think checking cache, backlinks then querying a phrase off the page just to check a single URL is ideal or even accurate. Yes it was my idea, and i was hoping to hear some constructive input on how accurate the command was. If i'm spot on, then great we have a way to check Supplemental pages and if not it's back to the drawing board. So far it's the closest i've found. And this is hardly a fight, more of a debate which is great. I've had many SEO debates over the last 7 years and lost a quite few, however the end result is people learn something which is always a good thing regardless who is correct. Actually i'm going to start a dedicated thread over in the SEO section regarding this operator command to get some input, because i'd like some more data as well.
@ sweetfunny - If you want my advice, just ignore petyard they are obviously too immature to realise what you and I noticed in an instant - we're not arguing, just debating. No-one knows everything about the SEs except the engineers themselves (and I doubt anyone here is an engineer for google, yahoo AND msn) Leave him / her to have their hissy fit and lets get on with real life shall we?
LOL...it started as a debate and I enjoyed at first then you two guys took it personally...."look how good I am and how much I know, who are you to debate with no5 on google?!" read again all the "debate" and maybe you will see I am right...
