Wow that's dirt cheap. Who ever you get is going to be horrible. No proper designer will work for less than a dollar

 

That is just insulting to designers.

 

there are already a couple of people who offer excellent designs for $4, so i believe an experienced designer can create 2 logos in 1/2 to 1 hour.

 

$3/ hour is too low.....consider that adobe illustrator cost $599, photoshop costs around the same etc...

 

i apologize if this seems low, but I will offer bonuses($20-$100) depending on the happinness of customers and quality of designs.

 

Jordan is right. The programs are expensive and good work deserves to be compensated accordingly.
I understand working cheap these days but the poor designer that takes you up on this will burn out and grow bitter in the long run.

Yes Technorino, however having a life is what keeps ones work fresh and growing.
Nice work on your portfolio BTW.
I suppose there will always be people who will take advantage of those without a life
and then discard them and move on to the next.
I have seen prices in this industry plummet like the current stock market for quite awhile
now and the results are obvious online now.
