Anyone think that $100 is too high? I have only made about $37 in 2 months and I have heard some people say that adsense is a great way to make money but taking this long is sort of ridiculous lol Any secrets to getting more clicks? (legally of course)
Hehe,It's depends one ur keywords,If you have cool site,You can hit 100 USD in 1 month.. If you want get more clicks,content is very important,also you should Strategically place your ads.
thats depend on your keywords and how you want to market your site to get more traffic i know a lot of people earning more than 100 dollar per month and you can do to .. just be patient
You're good that you made that much in 2 months. The limit is $100 because it is not worth for Google to send people checks for less than that. It is just inefficient for them, however, I think that if you receive direct payments to your bank account, then they should let you take your money before reaching $100. $50 would be nice!
It doesn't bother me to be honest. I get payments every month very rarely even check my adsense. Just work more on your websites and you will not even care about the min of $100.
Evenif they let you receive payment at $50, still so many complain about that and want payment at $10 or $20 DON.
same here. it really took me 6months to get $100 and i've did lots of illegal just to have it. so i switch to adbrite for they allow warezes. and it gets easy in a way for me. creating a forum with adsense might be a good idea to have $100 in a shot period of time.
$100 is reasonable. To get more click, you need to have interesting content and best ads placement. Try to work on SEO to get more traffic and play around with your ads placement
This to me has always seemed like a cheap trick for advertisers. Its basicly free money for them. I think at the very least if you are on unhappy say at 2 months, you can close your account and at least recieve the money you are owed. Especially lets say you made 75 in 2 months and want to switch, you are forced to stay with them even if another one would pay better or lose out.
Why lose out ?? You can still close your account anytime and request for balance amount in your account (you will get it after 2-3 months). So ultimately nothing to loose. DON.
Now you know how low the AdSense earnings are when people doing illegal things cannot make $100 in less than 6 months. Can you imagine if he tried doing it legally? He would wait to get paid for a year. Yeah, but that is kind of asking too much from Google. We want to be reasonable.

This is a method used by Google to prevent click bombs and quick cashouts. I see this as a way to protect advertisers and that should be their main objective.
$100 payout is reasonable. It took me 3 months to get my first paycheck when I first started. Now I get a paycheck every month.
I like the $100 payout level - it keeps me motivated to stay on top of my SEO work and content writing each month in order to make that I get paid!
well thanks for all that good feedback, i am going to be starting up a new forum soon that will be geared towards bands, events, and related stuff, i really like vbulletin, should i try vbseo when i get the new forum going?
