Revisions: I've lightened and softened the H/Servers, and incorporated them into a globe with cable effect to create an icon for the logo. You could then have it as either the H of "Hosting" or a stand-alone icon. I have included examples below: And the icon on its own (and larger) as well as the 100x28 logo too: Feedback welcome.
Ok, this pretty much looks like it's going to be a draw between scuzzy and Aderain as your logos are amazing. We may have to pick the winner and offer the other a lower price. Scuzzy:The "DME" part appears to be TOO light and I think the logo would look a bit better if it was over all a little bit darker since a lot of the template uses darker blue colors. Aderain: Your second logo with the Globe behind the H in "Hosting" looks great. However, not sure about the frosting/snow affect on top of DMEHosting. Perhaps a different effect or darken it? The smaller logo is hard to read because of it.
Eagle-Designz: Unfortunately the globe and colors and design of the text doesn't fit to well with the website. Thanks for contributing though.
The black next to it makes it look a bit darker, let me know if you want me to make the blues darker. Regards -epic
scuzzy: You put us in a tough spot as we will have to decide which one we like better since they both look good. The black "Hosting" and black "DME" both fit well in their own way. I'll have to get more opinions tomorrow when I can have others take a look. Aderian: Hope to see a revision from you as well. We are stuck between both of you, but will offer the 2nd place designer $25 if they still want to sell their logo. I'll get more input tomorrow.
No prob, logo will be delivered in a PSD file 600DPI, you shouldn't have any problems making it into T shirts and other media if you'd like in the future
Revisions: Logo and fade now slightly darker, which makes it show up better in 100x28 format as well: The file is currently in vector (ai. file) format, but can be exported into any format available through Illustrator. Completely scalable to any size large or small with no pixelation.
Thanks for all the entries. We will be deciding tomorrow who to pick. Contest is over, only post if you are going to be doing revisions. No new posts please. Thanks, we will choose which one on Monday.
RenderWork: Are you able to revise that globe a bit? Maybe have a fiberoptic or cat5 look of a wire instead of coax?
That globe really isn't doing it for us. Is there a way you can make it look like "Scuzzy's"? Make it look more fiber optic'ish and have a 'speed' feel to it? It sounds lame but it well help us which logo's to pick.
