The logo size shall be 512 by 512 pixels, although it should be delivered in a vector graphic format. The application will be distributed through the Google Play. The application name is "Mobile Tracer". Mobile Tracer is designed for on board use of an aircraft or aerodrome mobile vehicle. It acquires positional information from GPS and sends it via GPRS to surveillance (radar) server named "Public Radar". Many different types of users are connected to the Public Radar using the surveillance (radar) data: - Aerodrome Flight Information Service (AFIS) staff, - pilots, - flight schools, - aircraft service and maintenance organizations, - small air operators, - aircraft owners, - search and rescue, - etc. The logo shall be designed for the Mobile Tracer application at first. It will be great if it is easily modifiable for other parts of the Public Radar system (AFIS display, school support app., pilot on-board apps., etc.) - a group of logos with common look and feel. If there shall be any difficulty with the name "Mobile Tracer", it can be changed to better one by agreement.

I mean it is not necessary to take in into consideration. It is just to get the idea what the application is, not to follow it when designing the logo. You can follow it, but is is not requirement.
Heres My Idea, I kindof made it like an instrumentation panel suggesting tracing and GPS. I can add more detail if you like, its made in full vector.
Let us know your feedback as I can still improve on the design. As far as the instrument panel goes, I want it to be a unique icon that will later tie up with (AFIS display, school support app., pilot on-board apps., etc.) for a uniform logos. Colors can change and graphics can be added, if you specifically want an plane on the the icon let me know and Ill add it in. Currently my entry uses the Android GPS symbol used as a marker on the Map... Let us know feedback so you get more response on your contest.
