Contest $100 Logo Design (and color palette) Contest for Advertising Company

Hi Everyone,

I need a logo for my new advertising company Gratify.

Examples / inspiration. Here are some logos I like: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.

Background: Gratify will offer banner advertising on popular websites, blogs and newsletters.

Colors: Not red. I'm open to suggestions. I need you to create a color palette based off the logo that we will use for the rest of the website / branding.

Style: Clean and modern. I feel simple is better than complex.

Deadline: Friday 6/5/2015 at 5:00pm CST.

PRIZE: $100 for first place. Payment will be immediate via PayPal after I select the winner.

WHAT YOU WILL DELIVERY: A Logo file (created in either Photoshop or Illustrator) and a 5+ color, color palette.

@Heyendro thanks for your submission. I'm not a fan of the ball, it makes me think of grass growing out of it which doesn't say much about our brand. The color scheme is too washed out for me.

I am not a fan of the color scheme, I was thinking something more modern and business like.

Positives
I think the concept with the icon is cool, it's kinda of like pipes which reminds me of the internet / ads.
I like the font you used for the logo

Constructive Criticisms
I'm not wild about the orange in the color scheme
Although I think the G icon is neat, it might be to confusing for some people. Is there anyway you could try something else for the icon?

Hello, here is another concept, in the middle of the icon you can see an abstract arrow formed by the negative space, positioned at an angle to the left , like the mouse cursor.

 

And another concept based more on the concept of the word "gratify", wich means to offer, to give, so the icon represents two hands.

@amerriaz I'm not sure what you mean by be original? Maybe I missed something because I don't see a submission from Artalian. Maybe they deleted it?

@getdomain4u I like the simplicity of the blue one the best, but it reminds me of another logo. I can't put my finger on it though. If it comes to me I will post back about it.
