$100 Logo Contest!

How much longer for the contest? I will get on it right away and post the finished product.

I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who submitted designs. Also, I obviously messed up a little and I apologize for that. I foolishly thought that everyone would submit their logos at my forum (that the logo is for) and I hadn't even realized anyone was replying here. Stupid on my part, I know.

I will review all designs submitted here and reply back with feedback tomorrow morning (within the next 18hrs).

helcat, thanks for your entry, it's not exactly what I'm looking for TBH. It gives an image of something cheap IMO, maybe you could make some changes.

Thanks Aderain, looks good, I like the top one better, it looks stronger. Have you any other ideas for the arrow image on the left? Not sure I like the gold branches in the 20K graphic, any other ideas?

paladin884, very impressive thanks. What size in pixels would the site logo be? What file size?

Piggy, I like where you are going with it. However, I don't want a dollar symbol in the logo. Also, maybe think about the bar chart image you've included. Any other suggestions.

chemicalinck, interesting. Can you show me what it would look like on my site? Size and file size please. Also I don't want the competition link underneath the logo. I want a separate graphic to sit to the right of it.

umxca, I like where you are going with it. I feel the comp graphic on the right needs some improvement. Can you do anything with it?

apg16, I'd like the text to be more prominent and the swirl around it less so. Thanks for your efforts.

anidesign, very professional looking, thanks. The domain name is the same as the site name and I would like it to be very clear to everyone at first glance that it is "Business Advice Forum". The way you have "Forum" to the side might cause some confusion.

Thanks creepro, I prefer your second one. It needs something to make it look sharper and more professional. Any ideas?

you_love_me44, very creative and original, well done with that. Looking at the logos on the right, I'd like to see how the first "BAF" circle would look with the blue "Business Advice Forum" words. I don't want black text. Also can you make any changes to how the s's appear in the text? Re your second post, I would like the "BAF" letters to be a little easier to read. I do like the last one best and I like where you are going with it.

imhawk, thanks for your comments and sorry for the confusion. It's not my intention to "screw" anyone. The total prize is $100. $75 for the main logo and $25 for the side graphic.

warsawtech, I will decide on a winner on Wed or Thur. Probably Wed so aim for that.

When you post a logo please let me know its size (in pixels) and file size. Also where possible, please show me what it would look like on my site.

Hey thanks for the feedback....The size on disc of my logo is 16.0 kb and the logo pixel size is 325x73. However the logo can be made to fit in anysize you want. Also if you want to know how the logo looks in your website then i will give you permission to use this logo just to get the hang of it. You can upload this one on to your website and then tell me if you like it or not...

paladin884, Do you have any other variations on that theme? Can you change the "f" in Forum a little - it looks a little like a lower case "f" in that font? I really like what you've done, but I think it could be improved a little, sorry but I'm not sure exactly how. Maybe the words "Advice Forum" could be made a little stronger. "logo size: 259 KB" - What's the smallest size that a quality version for the site could be?

Looks good you_love_me44, can you do anything with the symbol? I really like your design and it is very clever, but I feel it is a little complex. Can you add an "F" to the design of the last symbol you included in post 31.

thanks for the feedback...I was thinking you probably want the same size you are running right now (511 x 75px) so that is what I have it set at, as for the file size it would be around 6-7kb
