I need a logo created for a brand new online educational website. Specifications - Colors: Red, Black, and Yellow or Yellow-Orange - Kid-Friendly, Professional, Clean, and a strong symbol for corporate branding. - Vector and PSD image - Company name will be Power Up - Logo needs to be usable on website, and business cards, headers, and clothing - The wording "Power Up" needs to be very prominent in the logo Submissions must be made by Monday February 16, 2008. As long as it's vector, it can be scaled down to what we need. For the web version, I'd assume no bigger than 250px long, and 100px high.
Not what they're looking for in terms of a logo. Remember, this is going to be a children's educational website. To be more specific, it's a site that'll be used to help teach children how to speak in English.
I'm not going to give individual feedback for all the current submissions. They all fall under the same response. None of these submissions give off the vibe of a children's educational website/possible future SCHOOL. Remember, the point of this logo is to do the following: 1. Emphasize CHILDREN. 2. Emphasize EDUCATION. Also, as I mentioned before, please keep the color scheme to the following 3 colors, and be sure all 3 are present in your submission: 1. Red 2. Black 3. Yellow OR Yellow-Orange (More yellow than orange) At the moment, the closest submission to what we're looking for is the one by nmnmghl, though, it's still not professional enough for our liking. To give some more information, the school/educational website will be used to teach kids in Korea how to speak English. If the school is built, it will also be in Korea.
Very nice submission, and finally, a step in the right direction. I'm not too fond of the green, however, I like what you've done with it. This definitely screams "Kids". Not too sure about the educational aspect, but a very good move in the right direction.
